1.Full-coverage cleaning and disinfection
A concave-mirror designed cover of the washing and disinfection chamber ensures the full immersion of all parts in the disinfectant solution during every operating cycle of the machine, including the endoscope surface and interior, disinfection chamber and its cover, piping and connectors for air/liquid inlets and leakage-detection.Circulating water flows maintain a continuous washing and disinfection of all the internal cavities of endoscopes and other components. There will be a minimum amount of bubbles even in continuous rinsing because the full coverage and immersion leaves no room for air (as shown in the following picture) .
2.Circulation washing pump
Provide a continuous washing and disinfection of endoscope surfaces and all pipe interiors of air-inlet, water-inlet, biopsy and suction tubes, avoiding the formation of bacterial biofilm.
3.Sterile water rinsing
A built-in sterile water filter prevents used and unclean rinsing water from contaminating the disinfected endoscopes.
4.Thermostatic control of disinfectant
Thermostatic control ensures the cleaning and disinfection efficacy unaffected by the ambient temperature,as all disinfectants’performance declines as temperature drops. As found by Biotech-Germande:at room temperature (22°C), the population reduction of mycobacterium is between Log104 and Log105 after a 45 minutes’exposure in 2% glutaraldehyde solution. However,at 45°C,the reduction value could reach Log106 in less than 5 minutes, by using 0.15% glutaraldehyde solution.
1.A foot-control chamber cover
The cover surface of the washing and disinfection chamber is not always
sterilized. The endoscopes therefore stand in the risk of secondary contaminations when medical workers pick them up with hands which might already be contaminated by the unsterilized cover surface.
2.Self-disinfection cycle
The machine can run an independent self-disinfection cycle as needed, as long as it is not running other programs. E.g. This cycle can be run every week after a week’s disinfection work is done. It will give a complete disinfection to the machine’s filter, washing and disinfection chamber, water-inlet piping and other components, preventing the machine itself from being a contamination source.
1.Fully-sealed
Made with precision injection mould of stainless steel and imported plastic materials, the machine has a product accuracy error ≤0.1mm, fitted with sealing
tapes to secure a fully-sealed cleaning and disinfection space free from potential leakage.
The washing and disinfection chamber is manufactured in a completely airtight structure with sealing rubber strip fitted to the chamber cover, securing a zero-leakage of disinfectant odor to maximally protect operators’health.
2.Full-Purging of residual disinfectant and odour
The concave-mirror designed cover of the washing and disinfection chamber ensures the full immersion of endoscope (including the interior), chamber and its cover(internal surface),piping and connectors for air/liquid inlets and leakage-detection in disinfectant solution during every cycle of the washing and disinfection process, leaving no space for gas to volatize. At the last rinsing phase, circulating rinsing water absorbs and brings all the residual disinfectant and gas into drains, providing effective protection for medical workers and environment.
1.Leakage Detecion
The machine can complete an endoscope leakage detection before the device gets contact with liquid, and maintain a positive pressure testing. If a leakage is detected in the endoscope, the machine will alarm both audibly and visibly, and automatically drain the liquid and terminate the operating cycle.
2.Drying stage
The machine has two modes to dry endoscope pipes: air drying and alcohol drying.
3.Process data printing
A dot matrix printer connected to the WD can print and store the process data of every endoscope’s washing and disinfection on along-term basis, convenient for users to keep records.
4.Process data management
The machine can collect information about endoscopes and operators, and transmit them together with washing and disinfection process data to user’s management computer system by wireless network, realizing synchronous management of both patient’s information and endoscope’scleaning and disinfection.
Special and proper design, convenient and capacious washing and disinfection
chamber enables disinfectant solution of 8 liters sufficient to complete an all-immersed and circulating rinsing of endoscopes (internal and external),chamber and cover (internal surfaces),other piping and connectors for liquid air inlets and leakage detection
The machine uses microcomputer controller and 16 sensors to realize automatic cleaning and disinfection of endoscopes and their pipes (all automatic preparation of water, cleaning enzyme and disinfectant mixture, pressurizing and cycle switching), drying of endoscopes pipes (automatically injecting alcohol and blowing in air at pre-set doses), leakage detection throughout the operating process, thermostatic control of disinfectant solution, self-disinfection and other functions. Once a fault is detected during its running, the machine will give an automatic warning or interrupt the operating process with a protection alarm (12 protection warnings and alarms in total) to avoid unqualified cleaning and disinfection.
Warning and Alarm Indications | Description and Processing |

Temperature sensor failure | The machine triggers an alarm to avoid damage to the endoscope. |
disinfectant discharge
failure |
The machine triggers an automatic alarm to avoid the use of invalid disinfectant if a discharge failure of disinfectant is detected. |
endoscope leakage | The machine triggers an alarm to avoid damage to the endoscope if the air pressure on the endoscope is lower than the specified value. |
low inflow water pressure | The machine automatically stops the operating cycle and triggers an alarm if the water inflow does not meet the requirement. |
Insufficient cleaning enzyme | The machine gives a warning if insufficient cleaning enzyme is detected. |
insufficient alcohol | The machine gives a warning if insufficient alcohol is detected. |
Loose connector of the water inlet | The machine will give a warning if it detects that the connector of the water inlet is loose. |
